|

Your illustrious instructor Captain Jeffrey Cardenas
The Grizzly Hackle Fly Shop presents the Permit School with Jeffrey Cardenas at the Palometa Club. Serious about catching permit on the fly? Here’s your chance to really find out how!
Join us for an amazing and unique opportunity to learn fly fishing for permit from one of the most respected pros in the business - at THE best permit location on earth. Captain Jeffrey Cardenas has fished for this most elusive game fish for over 30 years, and has won many prestigious tournaments in that pursuit. He is also a well-published writer and photographer, and is often seen on angling shows on TV. Jeffrey was named Guide of the Year by Fly Rod & Reel Magazine.
A special friend of the Grizzly Hackle Fly Shop, Jeffrey has agree to conduct two consecutive one-week permit schools March 4-11 and March 11-18 at the renowned Palometa Club in Ascension Bay, Mexico. Hosted in turn by Grizzly Hackle outfitter Drew Miller and owner Dan Shepherd, either of these weeks could easily become the most important (and most fun!) time you’ll ever spend on the water.
Limited to just 10 anglers per week, participants will fish six full days, two anglers and two guide/instructors per boat. The Permit School is in session continuously with morning casting clinics and evening presentations on everything from in-boat and wading techniques, to knots and fly tying. Jeffrey will always be available to answer questions and offer suggestions as you apply what you learn to fishing each day. Every angler will also fish one-on-one with Jeffrey for invaluable personal instruction.
The Palometa Club has become one of the premier saltwater fly fishing lodges in the world, with an exceptional permit fishery, extraordinary guides, modern accommodations, exemplary service and truly incredible food.
Saltwater School is just $4,200 per person, all-inclusive, double occupancy (includes gift bag, instruction materials, round-trip transfers from Cancun, seven nights lodging in large room with two beds and private bath, all meals and daily happy hour, and all guided fishing and instruction). All you have to do is get to Cancun.
Space is obviously limited so give us a call or email us today for more information. You can contact the Grizzly Hackle directly at 800-297-8996, or call The Palometa Club on our travel line at 866-723-7776, or email us at info@palometaclub.com.
